Free Crochet Pattern: Elephant Amigurumi

img_7611When a friend asked me to design an elephant for her friend’s a baby girl, I was delighted by the idea. She wanted to have a non-gendered toy without any pink or glitter or any other chichi. So I came up with this blue elephant amigurumi with big and gentle brown eyes. If you are searching for a cute toy which matches either boy or girl, you are very much welcome to do your own.

  4. For the lower half, repeat the same passing the thread on the bottom side.
  5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 again
  6. Insert from behind with white thread in the middle of the eye, then do 2-3 short stitches from the black into the colored area of the eye.
  7. Sew all threads

Place a red thread under the trunk for the mouth and attach with a small stitch just below the line so that a sickle shape results.
