I guess you have noticedby now, that I really am in Christmas mood already, as this is the thirdpattern for a Christmas amigurumi. Todays ginger bread amigurumi matchesperfectly with the Christmas tree we crocheted last week and the snowman we didbefore. Once again it is so small you can also put it into the advent calendarof your loved ones. I hope you enjoy Christmas preparations as much as I do, sowe can immediately start crocheting along:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/flauscheinhorn.mareikeschumacher.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_1331-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1893\"\/><figcaption>With this free crochet pattern, you can easily do your own gingerbread man or woman.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>You&#8217;ll need:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a little bit of brown yarn (depending on the\nweight of your yarn you will need up to half a skein (25g) of it) and 10 g or\nless in white or pink fpr the icing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bits and pieces (about 25 cm) of yarn in black,\nred and two bright colors for the buttons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Crochet hook, which is slightly too small for\nyour yarn (I use 3.0 when 4.0 is recommended)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Filling<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Needle, Scissors and everything else you need to\nbe confortable while crocheting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Abbreviations<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ch = chain<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>dc = double crochet<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>dec = decrease<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>hdc = half double crochet<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>inc = increase<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>sc = single crochet<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>sl = slip stitch<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>st = stitch<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Legs <\/strong>(2 x)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>R: 4 ch<\/li><li>R: starting\nwith the 2nd st from hook, we do von der Nadel aus: 2 sc, tripple, sc, inc (8 sc)<\/li><li>R: 8 sc<\/li><li>R: 2 sc,\n2 dec, 2 sc (6 sc)<\/li><li>R: 6 sc<\/li><li>R: 6 sc<\/li><li>R: 6 sc<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>When doing the first leg you cut yarn, now. When\ndoing the second leg, you do not cut it, but go on with the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Body<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>R: Put\nlegs next to each other. The leg of which you cut the yarn of is lying on the\nleft, the other one on the right. toes are pointing outwards. Your hook is\ninserted into the loop of the last stitch of leg 2. Now, insert hook into the\nstitch of leg 1 which is nearest to it. Pull yarn through to start your first\nsc, then do 5 sc around leg 1, change to leg 2 as you have done before and do 6\nsc around leg 2. You can weave in the end now or do so\nwhile crocheting the neck, later on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before we go on with the body, we do the <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Arms <\/strong>(2 x)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>R: 6 sc\ninto magic ring<\/li><li>R: 6 sc<\/li><li>R: 6 sc<\/li><li>R: 6 sc<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Cut yarn off when doing arm 1. After doing arm 2\ngo on with<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Neck &amp; Head<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>R: In\norder to join arms and body, insert hook into the next stitch of arm 2, pull\nyarb through, so that you have 2 loops on your hook, then insert hook into the\nfirst stitch of the body, pull yarn through, so that you have 3 loops on your\nhook altogether. Then pull yarn through all three loops. Do 4 sc along the\nbody, then join arm 1 in the same way. do 4 sc around arm 1, then do another of\nthe joining stitches to change over to the body, do 4 sc, then join back to the\nbody to arm 2, do 4 sc around arm 2. Do 2 double knots directly onto each other.\nThis knot will form the button. Sew this button onto your ginger bread\namigurumi, where you want the button to be. Do the same with the other yarn\nends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you can embroider a face for your amigurumi\nas you see it in the pictures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ready you are with your amigurumi!
