This time I designed a lion father with his teenage son for my wildlife-mobile-project. Best about this amigurumi pattern is, that you can easily turn father into mother and son into daughter by leaving out the mane, if you want. So here we go:<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll need:<\/p>\n<p>Cotton yarn in orange and a slightly too small crochet hook. I used drops Muskat and a 2.5mm hook<\/p>\n<p>Crochet yarn in yellow. Cut 3 small pieces of red cotton yarn (about 1cm) and pull them through the last ch. Take one single ply of red cotton yarn and tie it around the bushy part of the tail and form a nice tassel. Cut the ends of the red ply so you cannot see anymore that the tassel is tied up.<\/p>\n<p><em>Mane<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cut about 15 pieces of red cotton yarn (length about 3 cm). Start to tie them to the head right behind the ears and work your way down the head. Tie one piece of cotton in approximately every 2nd stitch. Comb the mane in the end so that it looks nice and thick.<\/p>\n<p>Stitch the nose on the face with black yarn in the end<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Petit Lion<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n1.
