Today, we will crochet a sweet little gingerbread man or ginger bread woman, or both, if you wish. I guess you have noticedby now, that I really am in Christmas mood already, as this is the thirdpattern for a Christmas amigurumi. Todays ginger bread amigurumi matchesperfectly with the Christmas tree we crocheted last week and the snowman we didbefore. Once again it is so small you can also put it into the advent calendarof your loved ones. I hope you enjoy Christmas preparations as much as I do, sowe can immediately start crocheting along:
You’ll need:
a little bit of brown yarn (depending on the weight of your yarn you will need up to half a skein (25g) of it) and 10 g or less in white or pink fpr the icing
Bits and pieces (about 25 cm) of yarn in black, red and two bright colors for the buttons.
Crochet hook, which is slightly too small for your yarn (I use 3.0 when 4.0 is recommended)
Filling
Needle, Scissors and everything else you need to be confortable while crocheting.

Buttons
Cut 2-3 yarn ends (about 15 cm long) in 2-3 colors. Do 2 double knots directly onto each other. This knot will form the button. Sew this button onto your ginger bread amigurumi, where you want the button to be. Do the same with the other yarn ends.
Now you can embroider a face for your amigurumi as you see it in the pictures.
Ready you are with your amigurumi! Well done 🙂
