CAL: How to crochet a dragon part 7 – tail with 2-coloured fins at the end

Here we go again for our toothless-amigurumi-CAL. As there are no either-ors this time, we start right away with the tail:

1. R: crochet 24 sc directly to the body. Count 2 rounds down from the left downside corner of the leg. Fasten your yarn end with a chain stitch and do 6 sc to the left. Turn your work by 90 degrees and do 6 sc into the new direction (up), turn your work by 90 degrees again and do 6 sc into the new direction, turn one last time by 90 degrees and do 6 sc into the new direction. You should end up with a square of 24 sc
2. R: 24 sc
3. R: 14 sc, 2 dec, 6 sc (22 sc)
4. R: 22 sc
5. R: 14 sc, 2 dec, 4 sc (20 sc)
6. – 11. R: 20 sc
7. R: 2 dec, 8 sc, 2 dec, 8 sc (18 sc)
8. R: 18 sc
9. R: 2 dec, 7 sc, 2 dec, 7 sc (16 sc)
10. R: 16 sc
11. R: 5 sc, 2 dec, 9 sc (15 sc)
12. R: 5 sc, 2 dec, 8 sc (14 sc)
13. R: 5 sc, 2 dec, 7 sc (13 sc)
14. R: 5 sc, 2 dec, 6 sc (12 sc)
15. R: 5 sc, 2 dec, 5 sc (11 sc)
16. R: 5 sc, 2 dec, 4 sc (10 sc)
17. R: 5 sc, 2 dec, 3 sc (9 sc)
18. R: 5 sc, 2 dec, 2 sc (8 sc)
19. R: 4 x 2 dec

Cut yarn and sew up the end.

Fins at the end of the tail.

Do one side with black and one side with red yarn

1. R: crochet 3 sc directly to the tail. Start one round underneath the top and work down the side.
2. R: ch, 3 inc (6 sc)
3. R: ch, inc, 3 sc, dec (6 sc)
4. R: dec, 3 sc, inc (6 sc)
5. R: ch, inc, 3 sc, dec (6 sc)
6. R: dec, 3 sc, inc (6 sc)

Cut yarn and sew up the end. Do the other side in exactly the same way.
